Design Studio

The design studio is the core learning module in each semester with increasing layers of complexities being added with each progressing year. It is conducted as a series of open-ended discussions and conversations between the student and the faculty, where a students’ idea gets progressively shaped through formal and informal critiques by the faculties. Here students have the opportunity to reinforce and refine their ideas through the professional expertise of the faculty while the faculty concentrates on helping students formulate their own creative stand point. The studio is built as a continuous creative laboratory for rigorous innovative collaboration with peers and faculty alike and is inclined towards application of all the learning from theory as well as peripheral subjects, workshops, tours and talks.
