The study program to Design Jatra, Murbad intended to expose students to a different context and mindset from their familiar but confined urban environment. Through the study programme, students attempt to understand the rural ecosystem – by documenting resource generation, rural priorities, decision-making processes, governance, ecology and other areas of interest they find relevant after interacting
with the context and its people.
