Study Tours

Study tours are visits planned as alternative breaks to the traditional classroom-based learning sprinkled across the semester that concentrates on on-site investigations with the help of practicing professionals. While the core curriculum builds on the academic capabilities of the student, these visits to product and design exhibitions, material factories, artist workshops, architect’s studios or their ongoing project sites amongst many others are dedicated towards inculcating pragmatic sensibilities in our students. Here students are aided towards strengthening their skills of team work, communication, problem solving and decision making when connecting with industry professionals who guide them through their personal processes of design idea origins to final realisations.
